To those who would normally attend CONSER-at-Large or BIBCO-at-Large
meetings at ALA, please--Vote once--Vote soon! Thank you.
ALCTS will sponsor a meeting Sunday, June 26, 2005, 8:30 am to noon on
the topic: AACR3: The next big thing in
cataloging
(The JSC now refers to AACR3 as RDA, Resource Description and
Access)
It's a schedule conflict with our carefully chosen times and location for
the CONSER/BIBCO-at-large meetings (CONSER: 8:00 to 10:00 am, overlapping
with BIBCO 9:30 to 11:00 am). How do you feel about cancelling the
CONSER/BIBCO-at-large meetings?

____Please cancel the CONSER/BIBCO-at large meetings.
____Please hold the meetings, and I'll decide how to divide my time
between the C/B- at-large meetings and the ALCTS event.
____Please hold the C/B-at-large meetings, because I prefer to attend
them entirely.
Comments: Couldn't these meetings be held at some other time, such
as Saturday or Monday? It seems as if everything of interest
to a cataloger is being held on Sunday this year.
Please email your responses by Thursday, May 19 to Les Hawkins
([log in to unmask]), or to Carolyn
Sturtevant ([log in to unmask])
Thank you. Stay tuned for the results!
