The decision and guidelines on treament of American Tribes as national governments (151) rather than corporate entites (110), as previously coded, is now available on the CPSO Home page at: http://www.loc.gov/catdir/cpso/   For ease of verification when establishing these names CPSO has also posted a .pdf copy of  the December 5, 2003 issue of the Federal Register that contains the list of  name of these federally recognized tribes; updates to this list will be posted as soon as these are published in the Federal Register.
