Dear Anthony

I think it is quite attractive.
Also I was asked for statistics recently and have found them on the revamped site - no doubt they were there before, but I could never find them, so thank you.

Paul

Subject: [PCCLIST] PCC Web Site Reborn

PCC Web Site Reborn

The new, improved PCC web site is open for business after six months of very hard work on the part of the Office of Strategic Initiatives and the Network and Development Office at the Library of Congress. Our thanks go to PCC activists in LC and from member institutions who were untiring in their comments and suggestions for improvement.

The site now meets government standards for security, Internet best practice and site design. Visitors will find a rationalized layout and greater maneuverability within the site.

The release meets a self-imposed deadline of readiness in time for ALA-Chicago. We hope that this will enable more discussion of the form and functions of the site.

PCC members may find that older addresses that they have bookmarked will no longer work. The best course of action is to visit the site itself and re-bookmark.

The URL remains http://www.loc.gov/catdir/pcc/
