To the Board:

Please take a moment when you get this message to go to the Library of
Congress homepage. ( www.loc.gov ) You will notice that the American
Folklife Center is the second listing under "Library Resources." This
top-level billing also extends to the "Resources for..." listings above
that. We are very pleased to be able to report to you that the Library
has addressed your concerns and made these changes to ensure greater
accessiblity of the Center's resources.

Many thanks for your interest and continued support of the Center's
mission to preserve and present American folklife in its myriad forms.
Many thanks also to the Center's Website Working Group (Michael Taft,
John Barton, Stephanie Hall, Ann Hoog, Cathy Kerst, Sarah Bradley
Leighton, Guha Shankar) and other Library staff (especially Julie Mangin
and Betsy Miller) working to improve the Center's website over the past
2 years. We have made significant progress, and look forward to the
work ahead with your continued support. Best wishes from us all at the
Center.
