We have made a few changes to the PREMIS schema drafts for version 1.1. We'd like to give people a week or so to take a look at them before we say they're final. See: http://www.loc.gov/standards/premis/v1/PREMIS-v1-1.xsd http://www.loc.gov/standards/premis/v1/Agent-v1-1.xsd http://www.loc.gov/standards/premis/v1/Event-v1-1.xsd http://www.loc.gov/standards/premis/v1/Object-v1-1.xsd http://www.loc.gov/standards/premis/v1/Rights-v1-1.xsd (not yet linked from the main site) Changes (from the last draft of version 1.1) are as follows: Put back the defaults when appropriate (minOccurs=1, maxOccurs=1) Modified date elements to allow for date or dateTime where appropriate (eventDateTime in Event; dateCreatedByApplication in Object) Added xs:string as data type for inhibitorTarget Changes from 1.0 that had been made in previous version of 1.1: versioned namespace version attribute make relatedEventIdentification optional fix xlink namespace reference PREMIS.xsd: change to version of separate schemas Please take a look. If you see any errors let me know by Oct. 5. At that point if there is nothing else, we will link these new versions from the main PREMIS page and copy the current 1.1 schemas (as previously discussed in paper about versioning) to the main PREMIS directory.
