FLICC Orientations to Federal Libraries and Information Centers Series
Defense Technical Information Center (DTIC)
As part of a series of orientations to libraries and information centers, FLICC is offering an opportunity for federal librarians to become acquainted with the Defense Technical Information Center (DTIC), which has served the information needs of the Defense community for more than 60 years. DTIC is a vital link in the transfer of information among Defense and other federal agency personnel, contractors and potential contractors. DTIC staff will present the following program at the Library of Congress:

• Permanent Availability of Defense Research and Development
• Public Offerings
• Information Sources for Federal Librarians
