Perhaps members are misled by the RSS feed that OCLC provides us for *bibliographic* maintenance. See: http://www.loc.gov/catdir/cpso/lcri22_17imp.html

Unfortunately, we do not have a reporting mechanism for *authority records* that must be revised to match the personal name heading.

It continues to be the case that when one revises a personal name heading, one must remember to revise related name authority records that use the revised heading as a see-also reference or as the base for the heading itself.

hi,
this is becoming a frequent problem, and i'm not sure
what can be done about it. but it appears that NACO libraries
are regularly closing dates on an existing heading without
closing the dates on all related NAR's.
