David Banisar, the author of the forthcoming 2006 Global FOI Survey will discuss the highlights of statutes from around the world and what lessons can be learned from them. David Banisar is Director of the Freedom of Information Project of Privacy International in London and a Visiting Research Fellow at the School of Law, University of Leeds, UK.
