Maybe it's an error, but the current listing for the English form is:
Divehi
and for French:
maldivien
So we would be adding both the English form Maldivian and Dhivehi. Which
is fine and I don't believe we need a vote. I don't have the information
that Maldivian ever got approved as another form of the language name.
