FLICC Orientations to Federal Libraries and Information Centers Series
The United States Senate Library
As part of a series of orientations to libraries and information centers, FLICC is offering an opportunity for federal librarians to become acquainted with the U.S. Senate Library. Established in 1871, the Senate Library provides the Senate with accurate, prompt, nonpartisan information services. Librarians on staff provide research assistance in legislation, news and legal databases, television transcripts, and
business information. The orientation will feature an overview of the library’s information, technical and Web services and a tour of the facillitaties.
