Ready - Set - READ!  Literacy Resources @ the Library of Congress

Catch the joy of reading September 30th at the Library of Congress National Book Festival on the Mall.  To get a head start, join us and explore earlier festival webcasts of favorite children's authors, delve into rare children's books on our Lifelong Literacy web site, and tour the NLS KidsZone to find audio and braille books for children.  Brought to you by librarians at the Library of Congress.

Type your name and click Enter to go into the online room.  A small software applet will download to your computer as you enter the room. All that is needed is an Internet connection, sound card, and speakers.  A headset with microphone will enable you to speak to the group.

Note:  Use of Internet Explorer is recommended.  Log on 5 minutes early to allow for the web conference software to be downloaded automatically to your computer.
