FEDLINK Fall Membership Meeting &Vendor Forum AND Folger Library exhibit

Join your colleagues for a discussion of best practices in licenses at the premier combined membership meeting and vendor forum. A panel will present information about typical licensing arrangements, sample contract language, consortia, suggestions for handling IP issues and tips learned by experts in
negotiating. Others will report on some recent trends in licensing, some of which may surprise you.
FEDLINK staff will also formally unveil the FLICC/FEDLINK business plan for 2007-2011 and highlight the new vendor services for Fiscal Year 2007.
(NOTE: We have also arranged to host a special curator-lead tour of the current exhibit at the Folger (right next door to the LC Adams Bldg).  It is very apropos and is entitled "Technologies of Writing in the Age of Print."  We plan to meet at the Information Desk of the Folger at 11 a.m.  If you are able to join us, please let Lizzie Daniels ([log in to unmask]) know for headcount purposes only.
The exibit visit will last about 45 minutes, so there is still time for lunch before meeting up in the Mumford Room for the FEDLINK meeting.)
