To those who submit BIBCO or CONSER stats for their institutions:
Good new--Bad news--December is one of those months...
Good news--you have done a great job of sending your stats reports between Nov. 15 and Dec. 7, as instructed. The files of reports we have received for processing that I have included at the end of this message show no duplicate reports, at least from the time that I copied the list today. It's wonderful to see such a clean file!
Bad news--the programmer who runs the stats program was swamped today, and couldn't run the program, and he's on leave all next week and can't run stats until the 18th. In the meantime, if you have sent your BIBCO and CONSER stats for November, please don't send another file. If you haven't, you may do so by Friday, Dec. 15. We'll run the November reports on Monday, Dec. 18.
If you can observe a "no-reports-week" from Monday, Dec. 18 to Dec. 22, it will give us time to update our displays. In January, we'll try to keep to our schedule, so you may submit stats from Dec. 22 to Jan. 7, and then observe a "no-reports-week" from Jan. 8 - 14, while we run the stats program and update our displays before ALA Midwinter. Thanks again for your help, and Happy Holidays from all of us!
