There are all-but-innumerable cases where something (a label, an artist, a lesser genre, usw.) has been documented by an enthusiastic (or eccentric) collector/discographer...but the resulting work was run off on a mimeograph (or similar) to the tune of 25 or so copies, and only exists in that form (to the extent that copies haven't been consigned to trash bins when estates were closed up...). In fact, what we of the 78-ophilic community need is for someone with the necessary time and ambition to data-enter these obscurities into HTML-file "web pages" and make them more available...!
