(For library managers and staff, this morning session will focus on the details of binding preparation, shipment and receiving processes. Featured speakers include: o Werner Haun, Head of Collections Care at the Library of Congress, who will discuss library binding options and highlight key elements in the contract. o A representative from GPO, who will summarize the contract requirements and describe the responsibilities of both vendor and library. o Eric Fairfield, The HF Group, the binding vendor, who will discuss the bindery operation, how to communicate your orders, and the changing nature of the binding industry.
