Copyright Royalty Board CRB News May 30, 2007 Issue 15 ********************************************************** For additional information, visit the Copyright Royalty Board website at http://www.loc.gov/crb.html ********************************************************** * NEWS * ------------- Copyright Royalty Board ----------------- COPYRIGHT ROYALTY BOARD ISSUES TECHNICAL AMENDMENT TO FINAL RULE REGARDING DIGITAL PERFORMANCE RIGHT IN SOUND AND EPHEMERAL RECORDINGS (72 FR 29886) The Copyright Royalty Judges, on behalf of the Copyright Royalty Board of the Library of Congress, are making a technical amendment in the regulation regarding the royalty fees for the public performance of sound recordings and for ephemeral recordings under two statutory licenses. The technical amendment, which is effective immediately, clarifies the appropriate aggregate tuning hour usage rate calculation option for the transition period of 2006 and 2007 for nonmusic programming.
