Error during command authentication.
Error - unable to initiate communication with LISTSERV (errno=111). The server is probably not started.
I personally don't (I use Notetab, mainly out of habit than
any good reason), but our web people use Dreamweaver to edit their XML
files. Basically, Dreamweaver is just a pumped-up text editor, so you can
use it to hard-code anything. Now, its WSIWYG component is not compatible
with XML, only HTML. But if you just select "View>Code" it should work
fine. Also, if you're doing any XML-->HTML transformation or
XML validation, Dreamweaver doesn't support those
things either.
I am also unsure if Dreamweaver supports other tag
libraries like Notetab does. Someone else on the listerv could speak to
that.

Has anyone ever used dreamweaver 8
for ead and xslt? We are in the process of recussitating a moribund
archival unit and hope to get some of our new finding aids online in ead format.
We currently have dreamweaver 8 software for web page development and
thought that it *might* be easier to keep/produce all of our web docs with this
software. Suggestions? Thoughts?
