The Ethnologue on the web has not been updated since its publication in 2005. It will not be updated until the 16th ed. is released in 2009 (planned)

There are other inconsistencies. I have asked the editor of the Ethnologue to add something to the preface of the web version to clarify this.

N'ko





Why is N'ko included in ISO 639-3 and not in Ethnologue? Aren't they
supposed to have the same codes at least for individual
languages?  It was added to 639-2 in May 2006-- is this just a result of
its publication schedule that it is not yet included? I had a question
from the German Library questioning whether it was only a script and not
a language and they noted that it wasn't in Ethnologue.
