From Dismuke: "So far your track record in this thread for accuracy
has not been very good. But I am open to look at and
give consideration to any evidence you might choose to
provide. "

So far your track record has been mostly one of quoting what I feel are some
wildly inaccurate and misleading press releases from the Digital Media
Association. There is more than one side to this issue, at least three if
you include that of the artists. I don't think one would need to dig very
hard to learn the history of this issue but it would take lots longer than
googling a press release.

I was very happy to see some original thinking on your blog and hope you
will actually act on it. It's very fashionable to be opposed to the RIAA but
too many people are lumping the folks who create music together with them as
even larger corporate media interests attempt to monopolize the distribution
of music.

I would recommend that people take the time to actually read the findings of
the CRB carefully and then draw their own conclusions.
