Expand your horizons, run for chair of the RLG Programs
Roundtable!
With SAA right around the corner, the RLG Programs
Roundtable seeks a motivated individual to help lead the shape and lead the
discussion for the next two years.
What is the RLG Programs Roundtable? It’s a place for
archivists to come together each year at SAA and hear what is on the work
agenda for OCLC Research and RLG Programs. It’s also a venue to hear about
updates regarding OCLC services in development or in implementation that may be
of use to archivists. Finally, it’s a place for a broad ranging
discussion about “moving to the network level,” and adapting in an
era of change. And that’s where you come in. We are seeking SAA members
who are interested in working with RLG Programs staff to help shape the program
for the coming years. This is your chance to make a difference.
Requirements: must be an SAA member. Must be planning to
attend upcoming SAA meetings (2008 and 2009). Must be willing to spend a few
hours each quarter working on administrative matters and planning for the
Roundtable meeting.
The Roundtable this year will be held on Wednesday, August
29th from 6-8.
If interested, contact current chair Dennis Meissner, [log in to unmask]
