As part of a series of orientations to libraries and information centers, FLICC is offering an opportunity for federal librarians to become acquainted with the programs and services of the U.S. Census Bureau Library. The U.S. Census Bureau Library is celebrating the grand opening of the new Bureau of the Census facility, a state of the art structure with 2.5 million square feet. The U.S. Bureau of Census is the largest statistical agency of the federal government and premier source of information about the American people & the economy. The library program will include: a talk by the Census Bureau*s chief historian in the auditorium and a self-guided tour to staffed service stations throughout the library.
