Local Holdings Maintenance Basics is the perfect hands-on, half-day course to learn how to use Connexion Browser to create and update union listing information. Participants will acquire the skills needed to retrieve serial records, search for local holdings records, edit local holdings records, delete local holdings records, and add local holdings records. Prerequisites include Searching OCLC WorldCat (O101) or previous experience searching WorldCat using Connexion, as well as the ability to interpret basic components of the MARC tags and OCLC bibliographic records.
