If you have tapes of sync'd film soundtracks, here is an opportunity to archive them. For sale is an Ampex 350 TRANSPORT with EXTRA SYNC-RECOVERY HEAD mounted after the capstan. Also included is a MagnaTech (MTE) Resolver unit that uses the sync frequency to sync capstan to picture. Also included is the MTE electroncs for the sync head. The transport needs a new pinchroller but otherwise works just fine and is in nice cosmetic condition. Price is $150 and you either come pick it up or pay boxing and shipping from the local UPS Store. For $50 extra, I'll throw in the full-track audio headblock. Otherwise, the $150 buys you transport and MTE sync equipment only. All of this is rack-mountable. You will of course need an audio electronics for the audio (non-sync signal) part of the program.
