Thanks for that plug for the METS Primer, Elizabeth.
Speaking for the Editorial Board, we don’t
have any plans at the moment for further METS training in the US at a face to
face event, but could certainly consider it for the Fall DLF Forum for instance
or some other event if there is interest. We are planning to produce some
online training tools in the near future, but don’t have plans solidified
enough to give you much of an idea of what or when those would be
available. Thanks for your interest though – it’s
inspirational or at least motivational!

the METS Primer (1) is a great resource. If you’re interested in working
in XML directly, I recommend the oXygen (oxygenxml.com) editor.
