Position: Technical Information Specialist/National Library of Medicine

The National Library of Medicine (NLM) has openings for two Technical Information Specialists in its Technical Services Division. If you’re interested in library systems and a desire to serve the medical library community, health professionals, and patients, the National Library of Medicine is the place for you. 

These positions are located in the Technical Services Division of NLM’s Library Operations and perform a variety of technical and administrative duties to support the maintenance of NLM's bibliographic materials. The positions serve as Computer Support Coordinators within the Division and provide first level assessment of hardware and software problems. The positions also assist with the development, testing, implementation and emergency backup support of Division systems and software, including NLM’s integrated library system and online public catalogs.

To be selected, you should have education in and/or experience supporting a wide range of desktop applications and library technologies. The salary range for these positions is $48,108.00 - 75,669.00.
