Wow...I've mainly been an arsclist lurker for lo these many...but my SP-15 
question
has certainly gotten things buzzing.  Thanks to all for the potential leads. 
For the
record...  ahem..., I contacted Panasonic about turntable parts (SP-10) 
several
years ago and got the same horselaugh.
