Subject: Louis Braille Bicentennial bags available
To: Network Libraries
To commemorate the bicentennial of Louis Braille's birth, NLS has purchased white plastic tote
bags that feature a line-art image of Louis Braille. The bags, which are 17" x 5" x 3", are imprinted
with the theme "Reading Is for Everyone: Celebrating the 200th Birthday of Louis Braille." They
also display the NLS logo and contact information.
Libraries are encouraged to order these bags (stock number MS054) from their multistate centers
and to use them as they deem appropriate. The bag can be viewed at
