I completely understood what you were saying - I just told you I wrote
the documentation so you knew I could help you ;)  I agree that a
staff client for each student would be ideal for teaching original
cataloging :( I guess you could tell students to create the record,
export it, and then delete it so that others can't copy off of them
... then you can import all of the records your students create into
your own database to view them - or just read the MARC ... not
terribly ideal, but an option.
