Having used one of these for years, both the DFV-1 and the newer DF-2, 
trust me when I say DO NOT put shellacs in them it will absolutely 
destroy them, These Furutech work brilliantly on 12 inch vinyl lp's 
only and nothing but. (You also can not use them on lp's weighing less 
than 110 grams.

Will heating shellac records flatten them?
