Posted on behalf of Anne Petrimoulx: The planning committee of the Archivists' Roundtable of Metropolitan New York (NY-ART) for the Summer 2010 NY-ART/NYAC (New York Archivists Conference) Joint Conference, tentatively slated to take place at Marist College on June 2-4, is putting together a workshop entitled: "Which standards are right for you?" The workshop is intended to be a full or half day exploration of the various benefits and uses for XML standards including EAD, METS, MODS, EAC-CPF. They have someone for the EAD piece (me) but would welcome suggestions for panelists on the other standards. I thought someone on this list might have ideas, particularly on the EAC part.
