Dear Colleagues, We are recruiting archivists or librarians to fill two new positions at the LDS Church History Department in Salt Lake City.
A Senior Cataloger - CHD-0900553 (https://ldschurch.taleo.net/careersection/keyword/jobdetail.ftl), to be in charge of all library and archives cataloging and metadata standards and to oversee the transition from a homegrown cataloging system to Ex Libris Aleph and Primo.
A Collections Development Manager - CHD-0900554 (https://ldschurch.taleo.net/careersection/keyword/jobdetail.ftl), to lead a small team of archivists and librarians (and a large corps of volunteers) who process and catalog collections. New focus is on MPLP, processing-on-demand, and digitizing-on-demand. Must effectively manage resources and people and balance competing needs, demands, and interests.
