A few months back I posted to both the EAD and A&A lists a request for names of EAD consortial repositories (i.e., those that accept EAD data from other institutions or repositories and make it searchable/accessible). Numerous people asked whether they could see the final list, so here it is. The list is "final" only in the sense that these are the ones we know about and could confirm; it's not "final" in the sense that there are no others, as I'm sure there are (and I hope will be more in the future). The list will be included as an appendix in a paper on EAD barriers coming out shortly from OCLC, and I will also see about getting it posted on the EAD help pages. Thanks to all who contributed.

Appendix I
List of consortia and EAD aggregators. Almost all can provide a means of publishing finding aids, or may serve as an additional distribution channel for collection descriptions. Many also have tools to aid in EAD creation, provide instruction opportunities, and have developed best practice guidelines.
