Two FLICC Preservation Programs on 2/23/2010

From 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, the FLICC Disaster Preparedness Working Group will present the latest in the continuing series of Safety Net programs. Representatives from Heritage Preservation, FEMA and the U.S. Committee on the Blue Shield will update us on several national initiative activities in the area of disaster planning and recovery that will be of interest to federal agencies. The program will conclude with a tour of the new Library of Congress mold remediation facility in the Preservation Directorate (space is limited, so register soon).

From 1:30 to 4:00 pm, the Preservation & Digitization Working Group will host a briefing on how federal agencies in the Washington, DC area can use the current GPO contract for library binding and general collection repairs.
