FEDLINK Serials Recompetition Briefings

FEDLINK is establishing contracts to replace the current FEDLINK serials contracts which expire at the end of the 2010 federal fiscal year. If you currently use or would like to start using the FEDLINK serials contract and the total dollar value of your list is over $2,500, your serials list will need to be competed against the new contracts. The new contract period begins in Fiscal Year 2011 on October 1, 2010.

FEDLINK is providing two sessions for federal libraries interested in using the new FEDLINK serials contracts. The sessions will review
• Transfer Pay and Direct Pay options
• Time line for the serials RFQ (Request for Quotes) process
• Requirements needed from your library for the RFQ
     o Serials Title List
     o Serials Checklist
     o Intent to Compete Form
• Additional services that are available to your library
• Discussion of how the award recommendations are made.
