Institutional Repository Librarian.  Eastern Illinois University is
seeking a librarian for a 12-month, tenure-track position.  Reporting to
the University Archivist, the individual will be responsible for
developing and managing an online institutional repository.  Other duties
may include collection development for one or more disciplines, service at
the reference desk, and supervision of staff and student employees.
Candidates must possess an ALA-accredited MLS; a second master's degree is
preferred and required for assistant professor rank and for tenure.  We
prefer applicants with digital assets management and archival experience,
and knowledge of copyright issues.  An academic background in the sciences
or business is desirable.  Success in the position will require strong
computer and organizational skills, effective communication abilities, and
a dedication to public and institutional service.  Starting date: July 1,
2010, negotiable.  Review of applications begins May 3, 2010, and
continues until campus interviews are scheduled.  Minimum annual salary
for tenure-track assistant professor is $55,992, dependent upon
