Program Contacts:  Please ask your directors or appropriate administrators to vote for program representatives to the PCC Policy Committee for the programs in which your institution is an active contributor (i.e., you have stats in FY2009 and/or 2010).  I know that we had problems with some directors' addresses when we sent the original ballots to library directors 2 weeks ago.  In the cases of projects, the funnel coordinator should vote.   The ballot information is included below.   If fax is too old-school, be creative and return the vote via email.

In the SACO-Only category of voting for a rep to PCC Policy Committee, only 2 institutions have sent votes.

Dear Director/Administrator:

Directors or other designated officials of active member institutions of the Program for Cooperative Cataloging (PCC) vote for program representatives to the PCC Policy Committee (PoCo), http://www.loc.gov/catdir/pcc/poco.html. Please send your vote by close of business, July 16, 2010.

The candidates below represent the program(s) to which your institution belongs.  Circle one name for each program:

SACO-Jennifer Miller Davis (US GPO)

SACO-Kate Harcourt (Columbia)

NACO-Jennifer O’Brien Roper (U Virginia)

NACO-Diana Brooking (U Washington)

BIBCO-Marcia Adams (Smithsonian)

BIBCO-Peggy Johnson (U of Minnesota)

CONSER*-Linda Barnhart (UCSD)

CONSER*-Beth Picknally Camden (U Penn)

*Due to the retirement of a sitting CONSER rep, both CONSER candidates will be invited to serve, with the 3-year term given to the person with the most votes and the 1-year term to the other candidate.  Both candidates have the option of serving an additional term in the future.
