Wow, this is an amazing project.  I know XML is powerful, but had never
thought about using it to encode music, let alone transforming it to produce
a traditionally formated piece of sheet music.  I've played piano most my
life and this has kind of rocked my world.  Kudos to the UVA team;
the possibilities here are endless!
