I've sent a message to the Program co-chairs telling them that we're discussing this idea and asking if they have any concerns other than the obvious problems associated with trying to schedule a session featuring so many speakers. I did pass along the suggestion that we could always pitch the session with 3-4 definite presenters and then add another 5 or so when we get closer to ensure we're incorporating some of the latest/greatest ideas. That way, it's our responsibility and the program committee doesn't have to worry about scheduling the extra speakers. I'll pass along their response.

I think this would be a great idea - I found the sessions very informative: short but sufficient to cue me as to whether I wanted to follow up with any of the presenters.

Following our RT meeting last week, one member suggested that we consider a session similar to the quick-fire presentations we had during the meeting. For those of you not in attendance, we asked eight presenters to talk for 5 minutes each about various EAD/EAC projects (Jacqie gets all of the credit for coming up with that idea and making it happen!). So, I'll just throw it out there in case anyone is interested in organizing a full session with the same format. Thanks,
John
