The PREMIS Editorial Committee is happy to announce the availablility of a German translation of "Understanding PREMIS". Priscilla Caplan of the Florida Center for Library Automation wrote the original document for the Library of Congress. It is a "gentle" introduction to the PREMIS Data Dictionary for Preservation Metadata, giving an overview of its scope and goals.
