The first release of our new service unifying Dialog® and DataStar® on a single interface was launched in August... welcome, ProQuest Dialog!  This powerful, intuitive search service was developed by leveraging the new ProQuest® platform and driven by customer input.   The first release of ProQuest Dialog offers authoritative content from key pharmaceutical and biomedical sources, such as BIOSIS Preview®, Embase®, MEDLINE® and SciSearch®.   Subsequent releases will include additional databases for scientific, technical, intellectual property and business research until the full spectrum of Dialog and DataStar content is available — new features and functionality will also be added in parallel as we build for the future.

We’re very excited about the intuitive, yet powerful search interface, which will feature:

§  Full-text content from ProQuest to strengthen the offering across subject collections

§  Precision search tools, such as left hand, middle, and right hand truncation search

§  The option to select the interface language, combined with automatic translation of key parts of documents, to simplify access for users in non-English speaking regions

§  Integration of analytical tools and improvements in cross-file indexing to aid retrieval and use of content from existing and new sources

§  A full range of pricing and contract options

§  And much, much more!
