I've used Skype to make the call and if you do a little hunting on Google, there are a number of little freeware programs such as (http://www.how-to-capture-streaming-media.com/record_skype_phone_calls/record_skype_phone_calls.htm) that will allow you to record the conversation. > Date: Fri, 11 Feb 2011 10:14:33 -0800 > From: [log in to unmask] > Subject: [ARSCLIST] ^Interviewing on the telephone > To: [log in to unmask] > > On occasion I will do interviews on the telephone but since there is no audio output for a cordless phone, I have to put in into speaker mode and then hold a microphone up to the phone. I've been using my Tascam DR-2D digital recorder for this, but the quality is not very good. I just did an interview and there was a horrendous buzzing on the recording when I played it back. Does anyone have a better method of recording interviews over the phone? > > Cary Ginell >
