On April 13th, Thomson Reuters will be hosting an exclusive training event in partnership with FEDLINK to showcase the new Web of KnowledgeBe one of the first to see the next generation of this powerful research resource.

New features, enhanced functionality, and additional content mean more precise search options, a streamlined workflow, and more in-depth, analysis of results. Stop by FedLINK at the Library of Congress to check out live demos, speak to product experts and grab a snack.

All attendees will be entered in a drawing to win $400 toward registration for SLA 2011 in Philadelphia!

In these sessions we will discuss and demonstrate important changes and enhancements to the new version of Web of Knowledge, including:

·         Access: How to access the new version and support materials during the dual access period

·         Improved search and navigation features: Automatically search for term-variants, refine your search by database, create a Marked List across the platform, and preview abstracts from your results list

·         Better results management capabilities: Analyze results and create citation reports from custom data sets.

·         Opportunities to showcase work and find collaborators: Link directly from Web of Science to an author’s personalized CV, complete with citation metrics, in the ResearcherID environment.
