Sets up journal accounts, registration, problem resolution with authentication, access, broken links, etc. Assists staff in integrating local purchase of online knowledge-based resources with nationally purchased resources. Works with the appropriate Webmaster to manage the structure and content of Web sites. Assists in coordination of ongoing instruction for online knowledge-based resources for end users including clinical, administrative and library staff. Collaborates on coordinating the selection, organization, and presentation of new or updated packages of electronic databases, e-journals or e-textbooks. Assists with the maintenance and update of the VALNET Comparison Chart. Provides advice and guidance on developing the use of new technologies (i.e. social media, Web 2.0, etc.). Submits monthly statistics on electronic resources management requests. Maintains collection control, access and maintenance of the library's print, audiovisual, and microfilm collections. Reviews and recommends weeding, retention and classification guidelines, policies and procedures for all areas of the library collections.
