Native American titles added to the NLS collection
In fiscal year 2010 NLS added thirty-four titles to its Native American collection, which includes works by Native American authors, as well as folklore, history, mythology, and fiction. This annual listing of titles is meant as a finding aid for network librarians. Formats and book numbers are provided with the book title.
Digital talking-book titles are identified by the prefix “DB”; titles on both digital talking-book cartridge and on recorded cassette are marked “DB/RC.” Some digital titles may be only available from the Braille and Audio Reading Download (BARD) at nlsbard.loc.gov. Titles in braille are or will be posted for download on Web-Braille.
Titles that ship to network libraries will be announced in Braille Book Review or Talking Book Topics. Titles marked “in process” will be announced when available.
