Operations Alert 10-58 announced that a new advocacy tool, Turning the Page, was available through the Public Library Association (PLA) and the American Library Association (ALA). Now the PLA, with support from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, is offering Turning the Page 2.0, a free, facilitated six-week course that will instruct participants how to create and deliver effective presentations, develop a compelling case for support, and build and sustain partnerships.

Turning the Page 2.0 is open to any interested library staff member or supporter. ALA membership is not required. For more information about Turning the Page 2.0, please e-mail [log in to unmask] or go to turningthepage/index.cfm.

ALA members can still register for the self-paced, unfacilitated version of Turning the Page online. You will need your ALA membership credentials to register.
