Weren't there some on radio transcriptions made for the navy,or for Armed Forces Radio?

I worked on processing 30+ open reel tapes of the WGN Barn Dance at the Country Music Hall of Fame last year. The tapes run from 1964 to 1968 and had been made by one of the show's engineers for Dolph Hewitt. There is some really wonderful stuff on those recordings!
