[Apologies for cross-posting.] The EAD Roundtable and the Technical Subcommittee for Encoded Archival Description (TS-EAD) will host a forum for discussing the revision of EAD at the SAA Annual meeting. Please join us on Wednesday, August 24, from 5:30 to 8:30, at the Hyatt Regency Chicago in room Columbus G/H. After attending to EAD Roundtable business, the revision forum agenda will include a report on tag usage research by Kathy Wisser and Jackie Dean; presentations by members of TS-EAD and the Schema Development Team on the submissions received during the comment period (October 2010 to February 2011), likely changes, and technical possibilities and considerations; and ample opportunities for questions and discussion. If you work with or are otherwise interested in EAD and have questions, suggestions, or concerns about its revision, please join the discussion at the EAD revision forum. The submissions received during the comment period have been compiled into a spreadsheet.
