Subject: Retirement
On November 3, I will conclude my thirty-eight plus years of service at the Library of Congress (LC).
My LC career took me on an unexpected journey. A journey with many lasting and wonderful memories. As I reflect back, because of your support, my training experiences lead me into territorites throughout the United States and elsewhere.
For this I say thank you.
There is a saying "When one door is shut God always open another" and for me you all have been the open door. Always supporting, encouraging, and helping me to be the best that I could be.
I will always remember my years in the Program for Cooperative Cataloging (PCC) working with many of you in the PCC family. I will truly miss all of you.
Thanks again for everything. I will never forget you!
