+1: A written statement and/or text transcript of the meeting would be particularly beneficial to me. -Jodi

Unfortunately this is at the same time as the Library Linked Data Interest Group meeting (10:30-12), and of course both topics are of interest to a significant set of folks. Can we make some arrangement to swap meeting notes or recordings? In particular, there should be gazillions of people in the library community that would benefit from the LC update session who will not be able to be at ALA. A recording or a written statement could fill that gap.

LC Update Session on Bibliographic Framework Initiative at Midwinter

Members of the Library of Congress Bibliographic Framework Initiative group will offer a session on the status of the LC Bibliographic Framework Initiative.  LC staff will describe what has occurred to date to move the Initiative forward, including an assessment of responses to the announcement of its plan in October.  There will be ample time for questions and dialog from the audience.  The session will be held Sunday, January 22, 11:00 a.m. to 12 noon, Room D227, in the Dallas Convention Center.
