The NASA Goddard Library supports the research activities of the scientists, engineers, and technicians of the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, who conduct world class research in the Earth sciences, astronomy and astrophysics, the space sciences, and engineering. The Library provides technical and scientific resources and research services in a largely electronic format, including a home-grown repository that contains Center colloquia recordings and harvests Goddard publication information from the web.
Attendees will tour the Goddard Space Flight Center and learn about the opportunities and challenges the Library is facing during its evolution to all-electronic activity. There will be a break for lunch in the Center cafeteria.
Please bring a valid photo ID for security. Unfortunately, due to security restrictions, the Goddard Library will not be able to accommodate foreign nationals.
